Equipment and site info:

Turbine Hub heights:
Bergey XL.1: 100 feet | West wind: 100 feet
Wind speeds are recorded at hub height, in Miles Per Hour.

"Power Density Speed" is collected by the NRG Wind Watchers and calculates Average Wind Speed frequency distribution to a Rayleigh distribution (a Weibull distribution with an "a" or "shape factor" =2.0)

Please Note:
The Bergey Xl.1 has a factory rating of 1,000 watts (1 KW)
The West Wind Turbine has a factory rating of 5,000 watts (5 KW)
The solar array is comprised of 10 modules of 75 watts each, for a total rating of 750 watts

All production outputs are given in KWH (kilowatt hours)

Wind speed data as read from data logger unit. Not compensated for temperature, altitude or barometric pressure

Turbines are connected to a RE system with independent Link 10 meters providing kWh information.

Both turbines have their respective regulators set to max. System voltage is controlled by a PS2524 inverter & two C60 diversion controllers.
